1st day:
Transfer from Vallenar to Pinte (Tránsito Valley) visiting on the way a silversmith workshop where ethnic jewelery in silver and copper is produced.
Visit of the museum of Pinte. Here you can contemplate a suprising collection of marine fossils found in the surroundings.
There's time to stroll around the place before you have dinner in the camping of Pinte.
Night in camping area.
2nd+3rd day:
A 39 km trekking tour during which you pass the Tatúl mountain range, takes you from Pinte in the Tránsito Valley to San Félix in the Carmen Valley (the 1st night is considered in an outdoor camp and the 2nd in a rural hostel in San Félix).
This track was used by the native inhabitants to move from one valley to the other and also to bring their animals to distant feeding places. This habit is practiced until today.
During the tour you pass different mountainous landscapes such as ravines, leas, waterholes, mountain slopes, etc. You can appreciate the local flora and fauna as well as the remains of past times and of course the impressing starry sky at night.
4th day:
Spare time. Transfer back to Valle
