Some spectacular scenery skirting Lake Rupanco and dominated, from various angles, by the snowy Puntiagudo Volcano, which rise up majestically from the green mantle of native forest. Hike on a small path trought thick, almost impenetrable primaeval forest. The plethora of plant species in the evergreen Valdivian rainforest is impressive indeed: moss and lichen decorate these ancient, gigantic trees, and birds hop hither and thither among the thickets, singing and calling out to each other. The high plateau affords a wonderful view of the Andes range, and the heavily-forested hills. Down hill drive by bycicle to Aguas Calientes.
